Pharmacy Technician in Sudbury, ON
Permanent, Part-Time
About the Position
We are seeking candidates who are compassionate, caring and who can understand the challenges our patients and their families face. As the ideal candidate you are a pharmacy technician who is responsible for the technical aspects of new and refill prescriptions, as well as supporting the pharmacist to provide optimal patient care. Working within a busy pharmacy or clinical environment, you have excellent patient-centered and leadership skills to support you in a fast-paced environment.
As a member of the patient care team, you will perform key functions such as providing assistance with technical functions for patients, while assisting the pharmacist in the safe and effective delivery of medication. You have completed post-secondary education in Pharmacy or related field and must have a license in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacist governing body. With at least two (2) years’ experience with Kroll Software you have excellent pharmacy management experience.
